He is extremely knowledgeable and will explain the thought process of your dog, which helps you understand the corrections to adjust the behavior. My dogs were barking in the car from the time we pulled out of the garage, making it distracting and not at all pleasant. One visit from John and I had the tools to correct the unacceptable behavior. When my girlfriend and I first got our rescue, everything seemed great. But day after day, we started to notice that our sweet pitbull was becoming destructive, especially when we weren't home. We narrowed down the issue to separation anxiety, and brought it to our vet, whom told us we could try collars and pills, or give some training a shot. I wish i hadn't wasted my money on the pheromone collar. John was absolutely amazing. Within minutes of meeting us, he was able to hone on exactly what was going on with our puppy, and how our behavior was affecting his progress. Being slightly trained in clicker training for dogs myself, I realized how much easier, and better suited his training methods were for our pup. Furthermore, John even helped us work on how to get Hudson to follow basic obedience commands.
